Anatole est rapatri\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre 1918 et rejoint le groupe des Travailleurs Coloniaux, puis retourne au 6<sup>e<\/sup> coloniale. Il est d\u00e9mobilis\u00e9 en septembre 1919. Il a peut-\u00eatre \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9 au dos pendant la guerre. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 nouveau mobilis\u00e9 en 1939 comme ouvrier sur m\u00e9taux, il est r\u00e9form\u00e9 pour \u00ab&nbsp;s\u00e9quelles de blessure de guerre&nbsp;\u00bb de la r\u00e9gion dorsale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il s\u2019installe alors \u00e0 Autun pendant une dizaine d\u2019ann\u00e9e, puis en 1928 monte son commerce \u00e0 Arnay. En plus d\u2019\u00eatre un horloger de bonne r\u00e9putation, Anatole n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 faire ronronner le moteur de sa superbe moto Ultima, fleuron de l\u2019industrie lyonnaise des cycles motoris\u00e9s entre 1906 et 1958.
